This also for some reason reminded me of a West Wing episode. Jimmy Smits character is a former Army officer, and now running for president. His adviser Josh, tells him he is going hunting with some local as part of a photo op. Jimmy says I have never hunted, I don't know how to shoot birds. Josh says, I thought you used guns in the Army? Jimmy says, yeah, a 20MM chain gun, it's a little hard on the birds!
Skyler's Dad- Thank you, and I can understand why the Government doesn't want you to have explosives. They hate the competition. The idea of bird hunting with a 20mm chain gun interests me, and if you ever organize one of these hunts, you let me know. Also, if you think of another doodle you'd like to see, pass it along.
Vikkitickitavi- My ability as an artist is limited to the sole fact that I know which end of the pen to use. Drawing an explosion is something of a complicated affair because you are trying to create movement in all directions in 2D. Making the mushroom cload seemed like a good shortcut, and the detonator is labeled TNT because I wasn't sure that it was obvious what it was. Besides, Skyler's Dad was in the Navy and probably still has good contacts. He and I are going bird hunting. Want to come?
