Well, enough of the sentimental hogwash. There is only just so much grief one can bear, and I've had my fill. I have at least a dozen more posts I've written about the passing of G.C., but I'll just let them gather dust.
I've been bent out of shape for a week, and I haven't been sleeping much, but I decided that today I am going to shake it off. I took the girls to the earliest showing of Pixar's new flick, Wall-E. We laughed and they had a good time. As today is payday, I did a little shopping to treat myself. A new hoe and a ten pack of lightbulbs later and I've almost worked up enough gumption for my weekly treat of mowing the lawn.
Screw it. I'll do it later. Right now I'm going to have a beer.

On the same wave length Doc. Ready to pop my first of many

You know they're showing a very early episode (EG says the third) of SNL tomorrow, right? It makes me feel better to remember lost loved ones in their glory days. Hope you enjoy, if you're so inclined.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you're feeling better. Salute!
ReplyDeleteThat makes sense-- mourning has it's place, but in time, we must rejoin the world, for if we don't, who shall make the beds and scrub the laundry?
ReplyDeleteStill, I think an intermittent, "in memory of" post about G.C. is also appropriate. Especially if one is drinking a beer @ the same time.
I'm sure GC would approve
ReplyDeleteI love WALL-E and GC
