I was hanging out at the Tiki. It was me and Frank and John and Michelle. Michelle asked everyone how they saw time. She saw time as months laid out in a patchwork pattern that repeated annually.
I see time as a helix that rotates up a year at a time, kind of like a waterslide in reverse.
How do you see time?
Call me prosaic, but I think of time as like a river: calm at times, you can drift along peacefully, then occasionally you get bashed to pieces against the rocks when you hit the rapids, and sometimes you get stuck in an eddy and go nowhere for a while.
ReplyDeletehourglass.
ReplyDeletethough lately, it seems more like a typewriter carriage: the same goddamned things repeat.
