What Was Doc Dreaming About?

We've been watching a lot of Disney's Alice in Wonderland these days. It's Lucy's movie du jour...or rather movie du every jour. Don't get me wrong; I love this movie. But not as a daily feature of my life. In fact, I think it might be having a permanent affect on the brains in our household.

For example, the other night...it was probably 3 or 4 in the morning. I happened to rise to the surface of consciousness just long enough to look at the digital clock on the cable box. I was just shutting my eyes again when Doc muttered in his sleep: "Who are you?" in a perfect imitation of the Caterpillar. It actually sounded like this: Whooo aaaaaaaahh youuuuuuu? It kinda freaked me out.

I wonder what he was dreaming. Was he the Caterpillar? What do you think?

  1. the caterpiller is the hoopiest frood IN that flick, hands down. Well, maybe the Cheshire Cat is slightly more tops, but Caty is grand.

Maybe Doc was smokin' something multicoloured before bed??

  2. When my daughter was that age, it was Mary Poppins. She's 12 now and still talks with an English accent half the time.

  3. I think he wondered who the heck you were. I hope you told him. Did he seem to recognize you in the morning?

  5. My wife rolls over or sits up in bed and asks questions in the middle of the night. Really high brow stuff too, like "what did you do with the watermelon?"

  7. Yes. I was dreaming of the caterpillar. I was admiring his comfy fungus and his hookah, not to mention his shoes. He had more than Emelda Marcos.

If you happen to see a pair or two in size 10, pick them up for me. I'll pay the shipping and take you to your favorite place and buy you steak or lobster, but not both.

    Doc
